[Just a warning but… I think I might be giving up Oz.]
[I don’t feel like I can write for him anymore. When I do, it feels like a chore. I just thought I’d make a post as a heads up.]

♫ It just so happened that Elliot Nightray had decided to spend the day at the library as well. Leo was back in Sablier and his sword fighting lessons were cancelled due to grim and dreary skies; a chance of rain was too great. What was Elliot to do on a day like so? Unlike a certain other, he had time to waste.
Or so he thought. Humpty Dumpty was still slowly gnawing at his life, supporting it all the while. The school library had gotten dull, with few new additions each year, if even any, not to mention the fact that the weekend had (literally) stormed in; it was closed. The Nightray manor too, while it had plenty books of its own— some of which he hadn’t read yet, just wasn’t as grand as Lebleu’s, which got new releases faster than you could say Jack Robinson. —But don’t quote me on that, because this day, Elliot had come remembering that the new volume of The Holy Knight was released about a week before, and they didn’t have it. He would’ve understood if it was sold out by now, and this was a book store, but the fact that it wasn’t here? Not acceptable.♫ Already in a fairly bad mood and it was only half past noon. He was certain he could count on the world to disappoint him before breakfast one day. Of course, he was still here, and would stay here until he found his visit to the library had served him purpose. So when he saw this combination of malachite and yellow (which screamed—Vessalius) with a touch of rouge through the corner of his eye, slip through the doors, he— well he was unsure what to say, really. Thoughts bordered— [Brilliant, this brat again. Why the hell is he here anyway?]—but words they did not form, as others reminded him that he was in the library, a ‘silent’ place.
♫ Instead, Elliot simply returned his gaze to the bookshelf in next to him, hoping to go unnoticed, turning back to his task; find a new series, book, whatever. [This is a public place. You cannot yell. They will kick you out, do not yell. You will shame your family’s name. Do. Not. Yell.] Fingers trailed the spines of the hardbacks, and would tilt one in ten back for a better survey, maybe one in twenty actually were taken out. And while he doubted that anything he’d find would fully compensate for the new Holy Knight volume, continue he did. It was a distraction—that, and something was always better than nothing.
He was quick to scan the area, something he had learned quite well over the time he had spent wandering Pandora, and it was then his eyes inevitably rested on the back of a figure. The body was slim but broad at the shoulders, the hair also recognizable, not to mention to stance itself— although slightly more rigid than normal. Or maybe he was seeing things? There was a pinch in his chest and Oz took an unsteady step forward, green eyes growing wider and a pulse of happiness igniting from deep inside his chest. It burned and brightened his tired emotions, turning them red; soon a tiny smile formed on the noble’s face. This person was able to see through him when no one else could, right down to the very point, knowing his secrets and his plights with life itself. It was an accident, really, but the point remained all the same.
[ Elliot is here. ]

The boy was hesitate in his approach, however, and moved along very slowly, fingers gripping the corners of his jacket. As he got closer, he could clearly see that Leo wasn’t anywhere to be found. Elliot was actually alone. Not mulling over the idea too long, Oz took the last step he needed, tilting his head a bit to look up at the other’s face. It was still odd to think he was technically older than the other. Ten years ago Elliot did what young children would do— play and laugh. The thought brought a pang.
“Elliot,” was the only thing he could say, attempting a smile. “I didn’t think you’d come here…!” The weather had dampened his tries with enthusiasm. Hopefully Elliot wouldn’t really question the issue— Oz was still weary non-the-less.

Oh how sweet jealousy was on his face, really fascinating, Sharon was enjoying herself more than she should have. However she could not resist the urge to tease, and who knows she might help him, the little lost lamb in front of her. She giggled softly and took a sip of her own cup of tea.
“It isn’t exactly a matter of whether you trust her or not, or of what she thinks or want. Rather what you would like concerning this subject, Oz-sama.”
Her smile grew incredibly softer as she watched the emotions displayed on his face. She made no further comment, knowing that Oz was intelligent enough to understand himself his own feelings and wills. He just needed a little push sometimes.
The blonde boy shifted uncomfortably in his seat. What she said… it was true, though, wasn’t it? “Well, I…” Oz trailed off uncertainly, unsure how to continue approaching the subject. He was worried about Alice— he always was, whether he showed it from the outside or not. Lady Sharon had the ability to pick up on this quite well, but then again, she had Break around. She had to have learned how to deal with someone’s facade through practice.
“… I don’t know what I’d like to do about it,” He finally said, biting the inside of his cheek.

It wasn’t often he had conversations like this with her. However, when he did, she was crystal clear when it came to her view on things. It was no wonder she was able to calm Gil based on what Break would say about it.
